Perspectives on learning space development in school (re)construction

At 3. and November 4, 2022, the PH Luzern will host a symposium on learning space development. Around 75 teachers and school principals, architects and school building consultants as well as university staff from Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy will participate.

On Thursday we will start with a dialogical introduction to learning space development in school (re)construction. In the second part, participation processes and learning space development in schools and universities are discussed, and research perspectives are presented.

This is followed by a methodological approach on how to initiate participatory processes.

Friday will begin with the keynote address “Cooperative work between school community and urban society: experiences from the reallabor STADT-RAUM-BILDUNG”.

Afterwards, participants can choose between three workshops on “School (re)construction and learning space development”:

  • Architects enable cooperative learning space development
